Alex Winder is a historian of twentieth-century Palestine at Brown University's Center for Middle East Studies and co-editor of the Jerusalem Quarterly. He edited Between Jaffa and Mount Hebron: The Diaries of Muhammad 'Abd al-Hadi al-Shrouf, 1943–1962 (published in Arabic by IPS, 2016); his articles have been published in the Journal of Palestine Studies, AlMuntaqa, Arab Studies Journal, and Radical History Review, among other venues. He has authored material for the Interactive Encyclopedia of the Palestine Question (PalQuest.org) and is a member of its advisory board.
