A manual of the weapons possessed by the Israeli armed forces — air, land and sea up to November 1970. Estimates take account of Israeli losses sustained during and since the June war of 1967.

À propos de l’auteur

Riad Ashkar a graduate of the American University of Beirut, he was research fellow in Military Affairs at the IPS, and author of several publications on the Israeli military by the Institute. He died in 1982.

Ahmad Samih Khalidi, a senior associate member of St Antony's College, Oxford, has written extensively about Arab politics, regional security and the Palestinian national struggle. In addition to being co-editor of the Institute's quarterly Arabic journal, Majallat al-Dirasat al-Filastiniyyah, he formerly advised the Palestinian leadership on negotiations with the Israelis. He also co-author, with Hussein Agha, of A Framework for a Palestinian National Security Doctrine (Chatham House, 2006).
