Biography | May Ziadeh, who passed away on this day of 1941, was a pioneer of the feminist awakening in the Arab East and an eminent writer, orator, photographer and musician. Her “Tuesday Salon” was one of the most important Arab literary salons in the 1910s and the 1920s.
