Abstract

The first edition, compiled by Sami Hadawi, appeared in 1966 under the title United Nations Resolutions on Palestine 1947-1965. This is a new expanded edition that includes the United Nations resolutions adopted during 1966, the references to source material, and the voting of member states. An introduction has been also added to this new edition which outlines, in a chronological order, the stages through which the Palestine problem passed in the various organs of the United Nations before the adoption of the Partition Resolution by the General Assembly on 29 November 1947.
