Abstract

The study is based on 111 interviews with Palestinian refugees conducted in Lebanon and Syria, as well as on extensive historical research. It provides irrefutable evidence that the foundation of the state of Israel was accompanied by the wholesale expulsion of the Palestinian Arab majority of the population from their homes and property.
