Author biography: 

Anas Iqtait is a senior lecturer in economics and political economy of the Middle East at the Australian National University. He is also a nonresident scholar at the Middle East Institute (US) and a research associate at the Economic Research Forum. He is the author of Funding and the Quest for Sovereignty in Palestine (Palgrave Macmillan, 2023).
