Sa’ed Atshan is an incoming associate professor of anthropology at Emory University. He previously served as a Postdoctoral Fellow in International Studies at Brown University, where he supported the inaugural New Directions in Palestinian Studies workshops. He is the author of Queer Palestine and the Empire of Critique (Stanford, CA: Stanford University Press, 2020) and coauthor of The Moral Triangle: Germans, Israelis, Palestinians (Durham, NC: Duke University Press, 2020). Atshan currently serves on the boards of JPS and the Palestinian American Research Center.
