Palestine Refugee Archives (1948-1950), International Committee of the Red Cross, Geneva: Overview and Analysis

This study focuses on the archives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) regarding its activities in Palestine/Israel on behalf of the “Palestine refugees” from 1948 to 1950. It is part of a global survey carried out by the Institute For Palestine Studies (IPS) on archives concerning the Palestinian refugees.

The IPS survey also covers the archives of the other agencies that have dealt with the Palestinian refugees : the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC; 1949-1950), the Federation of the Red Cross Societies (formerly the League of the Red Cross Societies (LRCS; 1948-1950) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA; since 1950).
