À propos de l’auteur

Constantine Zurayk is a prominent nationalist thinker and one of the pioneers of Arab Nationalism through his books and his leadership of “Al Urwa Al Wuthqua” association in the American University of Beirut, where he worked as a History professor and as an acting university president. Two of his widely read and quoted books are titled, “The Meaning of Nakba” and “Nationalist Awareness”, among many others in academia and in political thought.

قسطنطين زريق (1909-2000)، مفكر قومي كبير، ومن أبرز دعاة الفكرة القومية العربية من خلال كتاباته وقيادته جمعية العروة الوثقى في الجامعة الأميركية في بيروت حيث كان أستاذاً للتاريخ ورئيساً للجامعة بالوكالة. وإلى جانب "معنى النكبة" اشتهر كتابه "الوعي القومي" وكتب أخرى أكاديمية وفي الفكر السياسي.

Mahmoud Soueid est le conseiller général de l'Institut des études palestiniennes. ll est également éditeur en chef de Majallat al-Dirasat al-Filastiniyah. Il fut directeur général de l'Institut des études palestiniennes de 1982 à 2015.
