Dr. Ghada al-Madbouh, holder of a PhD in Comparative Politics from the University of Maryland/College Park. She received a post-doctorate degree in Political Thought from Germany. She currently holds the position of Assistant Professor at Birzeit University, Department of Political Science, and teaches at the Israeli Studies Master’s Program. She is a part-time director of the Palestinian-American Research Institute in Ramallah. Her research fields include social and Islamist movements, democratic transformations, Islamist political thought. She is currently working on the subject of education in Palestine.
