Biography | Hisham Sharabi received his bachelor's degree from the American University of Beirut and his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. He then taught at Georgetown University and taught also at AUB as a visiting professor. Sharabi was an engaged intellectual and one of the leading Arab researchers in the fields of philosophy, history, and sociology, and was widely recognized in academic circles in the United States.
