Biography | A native of Haifa, Antoine Zahlan was a professor and former Chair of the Department of Physics at the American University of Beirut and former Director of the Royal Scientific Society in Amman. Zahlan was considered one of the most prominent Arab scholars of applied sciences, the relation between science and society, the social responsibility of scientists, and future studies.
