Highlight | The Palestinian theater has gone through three stages, each marked by a distinct beginning. The first stage started in the late nineteenth century and lasted until 1948. The second one saw the rebirth of the Palestinian theater after 1967, especially during the first intifada which erupted in 1987. The establishment of the Palestinian Authority in 1993 opened the third stage.
