While the International Court of Justice is currently looking into the Legal Consequences arising from the Policies and Practices of Israel in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, pursuant to the UNGA request of an advisory opinion on the matter (Resolution 77/247 of 30 December 2022), the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People (CEIRPP) has commissioned the Irish Human Rights Centre of the National University of Ireland in Galway to prepare independently a legal study on the legality of the Israeli occupation of the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem. The study can be found here.
