Fadi Moghaizel is an attorney at law, holding a bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, and an LLM and a PhD from the University of London. He is member of the Beirut Bar since 1985, former member of the Paris Bar, former chairman of the Arab Law Forum of the International Bar Association, and member of the Board of the Lebanese Insurance Law Association. He is a legal expert in the matter of war compensations and oil and gas legislations, and correspondent to various foreign legal publications. Fadi Moghaizel has contributed to the drafting of several laws and regulations in Lebanon. He has authored books and articles and has lectured in Arabic, French and English in relation to human rights, women’s rights, democracy, elections, international arbitration, territorial oil disputes, and various other legal and political topics.
