Highlight | The Dera‘a Refugee Camp was established in 1950-1951 in Dera'a governorate, south of Damascus, it is one of the ten camps in Syria recognized officially by UNRWA, with most of its residents originating from villages in Haifa, Tiberias, Nazareth and Safed subdistricts. Before 2011, its population numbered about 13,000 refugees, the majority of whom were then displaced and a large part of the camp was destroyed by the war.
