Jordanian-Palestinian Agreement on Holy Sites in Jerusalem

Document | On this day in 2013, Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas reached an agreement confirming Jordanian custodianship over the holy sites in Jerusalem, especially the Haram al-Sharif, and supervision of the Waqf Foundation, without prejudice to the right of the Government of the State of Palestine to exercise its sovereignty over all parts of its territory, including Jerusalem.
