Biography | Qadri Tuqan was a prominent researcher in the field of science and in the study of Arab scientific heritage. He was elected as a member of the Jordanian Parliament, served as Jordan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, and headed the Jordanian Science Society. Tuqan believed that the way to overcome the effects of the Nakba was through the acquisition of scientific knowledge, and developing Arab ways of life based on science and combating ignorance.
