Fatah Issues Its First Military Communiqué

Event | On this day in 1965, al-Asifa, the military wing of Fatah, carried out its first military operation, attacking the Israeli national water carrier in Galilee and suffering its first casualty, Ahmad Muhammad Moussa (Salameh). Since then, January First is celebrated every year as the day the modern Palestinian revolution began.
