Place | This depopulated village was located in the southeastern section of Mount Carmel, about 21 kilometers from Haifa. Its residents, who numbered 1470 people in 1945 relied on the cultivation of grain, vegetables and olive trees. Zionist forces occupied the village on 15 May 1948 and established the settlement of Elyaqim on its lands.
