Highlight | Khan Eshieh Camp is the second largest Palestinian camp in Syria after Yarmouk Camp. It was established in 1949 south of Damascus; most of its inhabitants came from the Upper Galilee clans and the villages of the Hula Valley. The residents who numbered about 20,000 refugees in 2011, are known for their attention to education. The camp and its inhabitants have been greatly affected by the war in Syria.
