Highlight | During the 1948 Nakba, some 200,000 Palestinians from southern and central Palestine sought refuge in the Gaza Strip. During and after the June 1967 war, some 45,000 were forced again to flee the Strip, most of them to Jordan. In today’s ongoing war on Gaza, the occupation army has forced the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Gazans, mainly from the north to the south of the Gaza Strip.
