Lubna Taha
Biography: 

Lubna Taha is an award-winning illustrator and author of children's and young adult books, as well as the founder of Dinason Publishing House for Children's Books in Palestine. She has illustrated dozens of children's books with Palestinian and Arab publishing houses, receiving several Arab awards in the field of children's literature. She won the "Etisalat Award" for children's book for the book "Mama Bint Safi" in 2018. It is one of the most essential and prominent awards dedicated to children's literature in the Arab world.

Lubna works on using children's literature as an educational approach, engaging with children and teachers in libraries and schools. Her teaching style relies on imagination and exploration. She has conducted various training workshops in villages and Palestinian camps, emphasizing that stories should be in the hands of children. Taha studied English literature and translation at Birzeit University and previously worked with cultural institutions, including Tamer Institute for Community Education and the A.M. Qattan Foundation.  Currently, she holds the position of Social Media Editor at the Institute for Palestine Studies.
