Born in Jaffa in 1946, married to Mrs. Nazi Al-Kopti, and has three children – Fa'eq, Faten and Fares. Mr. Michael Sayegh completed his secondary education in 1966 from Al-Hussein College/Amman–Jordan and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Political Science from the University of Jordan in 1971. He is a pioneer and a leader in the industries sector in general and mainly in the paints industries, as well as other sectors such as real estate, media and banking, and is considered a distinguished philanthropist.
Mr. Michael Sayegh is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sayegh Group, which is a leading multinational conglomerate of companies and investments spreading across the Arab World, Eastern and Western Europe and Asia. The Group has invested in a wide range of products, services and supportive industries such as chemical engineering industries, real estate as well as banking and media. Sayegh Group today comprises of 35 companies and led by over 5000 dedicated employees.
- Holds the Order of the Holy Sepulchre of His Holiness Metropolitan Vindictus of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate in 2002.
- Recipient of Al-Hussein Medal for Distinguished Performance of the First Order - 2007.
- Recipient of the Ernst and Young Family Business Award of Excellence 2013.
