Photograph | Since the early 1930s, the smuggling of weapons to Zionist organizations in Palestine was taking place, but the British Mandate authorities chose to turn a blind eye. The operations began coming into light when in the aftermath of World War II, a conflict erupted between some of these organizations, especially the Irgun and Lehi, and the British forces, which forced the latter to limit the armaments of these organizations.
