Highlight | On May 14, 1948, and after announcing the establishment of its state, the Zionist movement succeeded in displacing about 800,000 Palestinians and seizing their lands, preventing the establishment of an Arab Palestinian state according to UN Resolution No.181 as adopted by the UN General Assembly. Consequently, Palestinians everywhere began to commemorate May 15 every year as Nakba Day. On this occasion, we publish an overview of the Nakba's meanings and the forced displacement and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from the Palestinian Timeline:
- Meanings of the Nakba: Transformations through Time and Place
- The Nakba: Stages of a Forced Displacement
- Military Operations and Zionist Ethnic Cleansing 1946 - 1949
