Abstract

This book documents the background to the Israeli decision to sign the Camp David accords and the Egyptian-Israeli treaty. The first chapter addresses the Israeli version of the negotiations that took place at Camp David. The second chapter analyzes the positions of a select group of Israeli politicians, commentators, and military officials concerning the Camp David accords. The book also includes the full text of the treaty and its appendices, as well as letters exchanged by the three parties. It also contains statements issued by Arab and international official sources concerning the Camp David accords.
