Abstract

This work, the eighth in a series on the “final status talks” of the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations, addresses issues related to water that are to be addressed in the framework of a negotiated settlement. It also describes water sources and characteristics, and current water usage. The author stresses that a just resolution of water issues is an indispensable part of a permanent Middle Eastern peace.
