This study is an attempt to shed a light on the historical context that gave birth to Palestinian uprisings, and to understand the physical factors and relations that contributed to the forming of these experiences and clarify their importance, how they relate to today's reality and how their significance can be restored. The study also aims at understanding the debilitating factors, future prospects and underlying potentials related to the emergence of a popular resistance in Palestine today that would restore the full cultural and social dimensions of the concepts of national liberation. Therefore, the book aims at offering an analytical reading of the recent past and the present, which contributes to the debate on where we stand today on the Palestinian issue at the geographical and historical levels.
