Journal of Palestine Studies, Summer 2019
Date:
September 27 2019

The Journal of Palestine Studies is excited to announce the release of its Summer special issue, "Black-Palestinian Transnational Solidarity" (BPTS), curated by activist-scholar Noura Erakat and Marc Lamont Hill. The issue contextualizes, interrogates, and ultimately advances the long and rich legacy of transnational solidarity between oppressed groups in the United States and Palestine from the 1930s to the present day.

Featuring articles and essays by scholars Maha Nassar, Robin D. G. Kelley, Russell Rickford, and Taurean J. Webb, as well as a roundtable with solidarity delegation organizers, this special issue of the Journal of Palestine Studies explores BPTS as both theory and praxis in the global and indivisible struggle for justice.
