The Lebanese-Israeli Troop Withdrawal Agreement was formally signed on May 17, I983, in ceremonies inKhaldeh (south of Beirut) and Kiryat Shemona (Galilee). Signatories were past Acting Director of the Lebanese Foreign Ministry Antoine Fattal, and Israeli Foreign Ministry Director General David Kimche. American special envoy Morris Draper signed the agreement as a witness. The text reproduced below is the official English text released by the Lebanese authorities.
