This sample of photos from 16 February–15 May 2019 aims to convey a sense of Palestinian life during this quarter. The images reflect the atmosphere surrounding the 9 April Israeli elections and a variety of protest and resistance efforts: from Nakba day, to Palestinian Prisoner’s Day, to International Workers’ Day, to the 30 March one-year anniversary of the Great March of Return. The photos also capture the difficulty of celebrating Ramadan under occupation.
